On October 3, 1990, after 45 years of division, the German people celebrated their reunification with speeches and fireworks. Less than one year before, the Berlin Wall had fallen. But the hard work had only just begun: turning two very different countries into one. Twenty years later, Deutsche Welle takes a look at Germany today.
