UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon says the scale of the disaster in Pakistan is greater than anything he has seen before. Visiting the devastated flood areas, he again urged the world to speed up aid, saying shelter and medicine were desperately needed. The Pakistani government says up to 20 million people are now affected by the monsoon floods and that there's a growing threat of water born epidemics.
