A Driving Ban for Petty Criminals - Is it a Good Idea?

In their coalition agreement, the CDU and the SPD agreed to strive for a driving ban for petty criminals. A criminal law reform could make it possible to suspend an offender's driver's license-- even if they weren't found guilty of a traffic violation. Still, not all lawyers and politicians are in favor of the move.
