The US presidential contenders are spending a hectic final day of campaigning - in a last push for votes in key states. Republican John McCain started the day in Florida and finishes in Nevada before heading home to Arizona. Democrat Barack Obama is also in Florida, as well as North Carolina and Virginia - all states won by the Republicans in 2004. The latest USA Today-Gallup poll shows "likely voters" favouring Obama by 11 points over McCain - 53 per cent to 42 per cent - just before Tuesday's voting.
