America's auto industry is facing an uncertain future after the United States Senate rejected a bill to give the country's three largest car makers 10.6 Bbillion euros in emergency loans. The deal - designed to prop up the ailing industry - was agreed in the House of Representatives on Wednesday. But it collapsed in the Senate after Republicans demanded pay cuts for auto workers. +++SYN-MAZ+++
