Amitav Ghosh: "India and China Will Never Again be Marginalized"

Amitav Ghosh has been among the most renowned Indian fiction writers for years. The author, born in 1956, has written in English on a wide range of topics and countries. Probably his best-known novel is "The Glass Palace", an epic about Burmese history. His latest book "Sea of Poppies" is set against the backdrop of the Opium Wars.
