#Burmese opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi is widely expected to be released from house arrest on Saturday. Hundreds of her supporters have gathered outside her home over the past two days. Suu Kyi has been detained for 15 of the last 21 years. The Nobel Peace laureate and her party, the National League for Democracy were barred from running in elections last weekend, Burma's first since 1990. The ruling military junta is expected be re-elected in polls that have been widely criticized as rigged.
