Baby Offered on EBay

Police believe a person who wanted to get back at the parents of a four-month old girl put their daughter up for auction on Ebay. The parents, who were on vacation at the time the announcement went up on Thursday, told police they knew who the person might be. "We are going after a concrete lead," a Hanover police spokesperson said in a statement. An Ebay user found the announcement on Thursday and immediately notified police. Ebay quickly erased the entry. The parents told police that someone had tried to auction off their oldest daughter on Ebay once before.
