After seeming to return to form this season, 24-year-old German midfielder Sebastian Deisler has flown back from Turin, where Bayern Munich played Juventus Monday, to return to the clinic where he was treated for depression a year ago. Deisler's career has been beset by injury and a six-month gap last season while he struggled with depression. His doctor at the Max Planck Institute for Psychiatry in Munich said at the time that pressure to live up to expectations and the fight against injuries as well as private problems had taken their toll. After publicly admitting to psychological problems in November 2003, Deisler underwent treatment before making a successful comeback. Deisler made a promising start to the season, winning a recall to the German squad, but performed less well in recent matches.
