When the German government relocated from Bonn to Berlin in 1998, many feared Bonn would turn into a ghost town. But contrary to earlier fears, Bonn succeeded in attracting thousands of new firms, many of them in the hitech industry. Today Bonn is booming and much of that affluence is spreading to neighoring cities, like Cologne. +++SYN MAZ+++
