Border dispute with Slovenia blocks Croatia's accession to the EU

The European Union has called on Slovenia and Croatia to resolve a border dispute which is blocking Croatia's accession to the EU. EU Foreign ministers asked the two sides to accept a compromise put forward by Enlargement Commissioner Ollie Rehn.
