China, Germany Cooperate on Technology

Germany will offer China assistance worth €43.17 million ($54.35 million) for 19 programs concerning new energy utilization, economic restructuring, training and employment promotion, legal cooperation and environmental protection, according to an agreement on technological cooperation signed in Beijing on Tuesday. Both countries expressed the hope to enhance bilateral trade and technological cooperation, said an official of the Ministry of Commerce. China, as Germany's biggest aid recipient country, has received economic assistance gratis worthy of €768.5 million from Germany up to September this year, said the official.
