China is allowing a delegation of western diplomats to travel to Tibet to assess for themselves the situation there following unrest in the Tibetan capital Lhasa. Their visit comes a day after an official journalists' tour of Lhasa was disrupted by Buddhist monks, protesting against Chinese rule.
