A 200-member delegation led by the Chinese commerce minister Chen Deming embarked on a trip to Europe on Monday, where it will engage in a multibillion-euro buying mission. The delegation will visit Germany, Switzerland, Spain and Britain -- the same countries Premier Wen Jiabao visited in January. In a statement, the commerce ministry said that the mission was to strengthen Sino-European trade ties amid the current global financial crisis.
