Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao is in Berlin for talks with Chancellor Merkel

Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jia-bao has promised closer economic coorperation with Germany after meeting with the German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin. Wen is in the German capital as part of a tour of European nations focusing on trade matters. The Chinese premier said relations between the world's two largest exporting nations was becoming increasingly important in addressing global financial problems.
