It's become a tradition at the port of Hamburg. For the past 20 years, good Samaritans have been giving Christmas trees to sailors who have to be at sea over the holidays.

The man doing the giving this year is advertising specialist Volker Barczynski. The sailors appreciate the gesture, even if they aren't particularly religious.
