The Audi Q3 is something of a rookie in the compact SUV segment. It’s only been on the market since October 2011. The Suzuki Grand Vitara is a veteran by comparison.

The Grand Vitara was launched in 1998, with the second generation following in 2005. All editions come with permanent four-wheel drive.
