Germany’s national railway, Deutsche Bahn, announced plans Tuesday to revamp its dining car menus with recipes by prominent German chefs. The first cooks whose food will be served in the rolling diners are talk and cooking show star Alfred Biolek and Eckart Witzigmann, who was declared Chef of the Century in 1994 by Gault Millau, one of France's most-authoritative restaurant guides. The duo recently published a cookbook of favorite recipes from which selections will be prepared on board between December and May at about €14 ($16.50) per plate. The repast on offer is a pepper venison goulash.
