The hot topic among country folk these days is Precision Farming, which stands for ways to enhance the economic efficiency of crops and livestock. Special software is the crux of the biscuit. A farmers' cooperative in Brandenburg is giving the experiment a try, networking everything from barns to tractors in the field. But are networked cows really happy cows? What are the risks and hazards of digitalized agriculture?
