EADS Employees Suspected of Bribe-Taking

Two employees of the European Aeronautic Defense and Space Company in Germany are being investigated on suspicion of taking bribes in connection with the allocation of contracts, and one of the suspects has been arrested, a company spokesman said on Friday. Public prosecutors in Munich searched EADS offices on Thursday, where they seized documents and arrested one employee in the military aircraft division, the spokesman said. The employee was relieved of his duties and EADS has launched an internal investigation, he added.
