Early Alzheimer’s Diagnosis

Researchers are looking for new ways to diagnose Alzheimer’s disease in its early stages. That’s because early treatments are more likely to be effective. At the University Hospital in Würzburg, researchers have discovered that near-infrared spectroscopy can monitor blood circulation in the brain and detect degenerative changes at an early stage.
