Marble Sculptor Fabio Viale
Italian artist Fabio Viale makes surprisingly realistic sculptures of everyday items in marble. Viale is based in Turin and has already exhibited around the globe.

In recent years top fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld has made a name for himself as a talented photographer. Now a collection of his works from 1987 to the current day is on show in the French capital.

The 2010 Beethoven Festival
The annual Beethoven Festival has opened in Bonn, Germany, with a star-studded line-up including Estonian-American conductor Paavo Järvi, French pianist Hélène Grimaud and Argentinian-born Swiss cellist Sol Gabetta. DW-TV is co-sponsored three days of public screenings in Bonn's Münsterplatz square during the opening weekend.

Dutch Landscape Designer Piet Oudolf
Piet Oudolf is the only landscape designer to have been invited to design a garden for the Architecture Biennale in Venice. The garden is located on the Arsenale, a former shipyard near St. Mark's Square.
