Flashback: 1863 - German Red Cross

The German Red Cross was founded 150 years ago. It's among the world's oldest national relief organizations. Nowadays 400,000 Germans are active as volunteers both at home and abroad. They help accident victims, and people in hospitals, in natural disaster areas and war zones.
