That is the ultimate goal of the 21 member countries in APEC. But at this weeks summit, above all else, Asia Pacific leaders will be discussing how to better trade relations during the current economic crisis. APEC economies represent 44 percent of world trade and 54 percent of global economic output. Russia is hosting this years summit in Vladivostok.
