Leipzig's trade fair for computer and video games -- the largest event in Europe of its kind -- attracted a record number of visitors, organizers reported on Monday. More than 134,000 gaming fans ventured out to the site in search of the latest innovations and newest games, exceeding by far last year's visitor record of 105,000 visitors. According to a survey conducted by the Leipzig Institute for Market Research, 90 percent of the visitors said they would want to attend the event again. The 280 exhibitors from 15 countries were equally satisfied, with 92 percent reporting that the fair was a success, and indicating their interest in returning in 2006. "We see the future of our market platform permanently in Leipzig," said Uwe Bassendowski, business leader of Sony Computer Entertainment Germany.
