German industry is expecting to report strong export growth for 2004, which will then fall back in 2005, Reuters news agency reported. Based on a poll of its member associations released Tuesday, the German Industry Association said it expects exports in 2004 will increase by 9 percent. "But the expectations for our members are less euphoric for 2005 than for the current year," the group reported. The tendency toward weaker economic development in Asia and the United States will affect German exports, the report said.
