German savers squeezed by low interests

Low or no interest rates are changing the ways banks do business. Built in 1890, this apartment in Berlin's Schöneberg district is impressive. 113 square meters for 445,000 euros - unfurnished. Estate agent Ariane Jauss is struggling to deal with the flood of potential buyers - 80 of them in the last few days. Mortgages are temptingly cheap thanks to rock bottom interest rates.
