Germany: Train drivers 'strike is over for now: GDL is threatening further labor action next week - je 17.11.2007 10

Rail services are beginning to return to normal here in germany after a three-day strike by train drivers. But the drivers' union GDL is threatening further labor action next week if rail operator Deutsche Bahn fails to come up with a new offer by Monday. The union is demanding a 31- percent pay hike, and a shorter working week.
