#POTW: Green fades to gray

Beijing, the Chinese capital is home to more than 21 million residents, but the government is planning to turn it into a megacity of 110 million people by linking it to the fast-growing port city of Tianjin and neighboring Hebei province. The rising cost of living has pushed many residents farther to Beijing's outskirts and beyond leading to huge urban sprawl and disappearing green countryside.
