Gunman Kills Two in German Mosque

A Turkish man who shot two people dead in a mosque in Germany has been arrested, according to German police. The unnamed man walked into the mosque in the western town of Gelsenkirchen shortly after morning prayers on Monday and shot the two men, aged 48 and 58 and both of Turkish origin, in the head before fleeing. The police statement said that the 59-year-old man, who was well-known at the mosque, was later arrested at his home. The motive for the attack is not clear.
