Headaches - shooting pains in the forehead

When a headache is not caused by any particular disorder, doctors refer to it as a ‘primary’ or ‘idiopathic’ headache. By contrast, headaches that result from another illness, such as high blood pressure, diabetes or certain tumors, are called ‘secondary headaches.’ Ninety percent of headaches are primary headaches, and most of these are either tension headaches or migraines.
