Eleven Hell's Angels bikers were sentenced Wednesday to a total of 58 years in prison for crimes ranging from drug and weapons offenses to assault and breaching the peace. The president of the former Mainz chapter, which was dissolved in 2002, will have to spend eight years in jail. The most lenient sentence laid down was a suspended sentence of one and a half years. The 11 men initially faced 99 charges in the trial, which went on for one year. The Mainz Hell's Angels chapter may now be officially banned, as the Hamburg and Düsseldorf chapters already have been after members were convicted of crimes in 2001 and 2002.
