Each year, at Epiphany, the Bavarian mountain resort town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen holds its annual horn sled race. Farmers once used the large wooden sledges to bring their hay down to the valley. But now, on the sixth of January each year, the traditional sleds are a source of fun for participants and spectators alike.
