Dancer and choreographer, Er Gao is one of the bright stars of contemporary dance in mainland China. A native of Guangzhou, China's third largest city, he began dancing when he was 14, the same year he started exploring his homosexuality. His recent solo performance DISCO-TECA had its world première at Bologna's Gender Bender festival.
