How Many Planets Does an Australian Use Up?

A carbon footprint is a tool to measure the impact of human activities on the environment in terms of the amount of greenhouse gases produced. It helps us realize how we contribute to global warming.

The Global Footprint Network recently launched a digital carbon footprint calculator for Australia. On the website, Australians can answer questions using a 3D online interactive quiz to find out how their lifestyles impact on the planet.

Shortly after the launch of the quiz, Alice Keath, from Adelaide in South Australia, gave three other Australians a guided tour of the new test. And some of the results were surprising:
