Marc Dugge / Gabriel BorrudApril 5, 2018

Founded in 1725, the "Sobrino de Botin" in Madrid has been recognized as the oldest, continuously operating restaurant in the world. The Spanish artist Goya is said to have worked there as a dishwasher, and the eatery was also reportedly a favorite of Ernest Hemingway's. Today, a visit to the famed establishment is considered a must for tourists and foodies alike.
