Turks will go to the polls on April 16th to vote on whether or not to expand the powers of president Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Voters will be able to decide on 18 amendments to the constitution, including making the presidency an executive power and abolishing the office of Prime Minister. Supporters claim the reforms will strengthen democracy and critics are warning of a dictatorship.
