Six months after elections, the Czech Republic is no closer to a viable government. The man appointed as prime minister faces criminal prosecution for alleged EU subsidy fraud. His rivals refuse to sit in coalition with him, leaving the option of getting into bed with the far-left Communists who want to leave NATO, or the far-right SPD which wants to leave the EU.
