Investors are hoping that President-elect Obama will move fast to get the US economy working again. According to polls, the economy was the top issue on voters' minds in the United States when they voted on Tuesday. The US economy is already on the rocks, as banks hold on to money and businesses stop hiring workers. Home prices have fallen nearly 20% over the last year, the economy has shed more than 760,000 jobs, and rising prices have eaten into spending money.
