Iranian President Ahmadinejad says his country is ready to send its uranium abroad for enrichment

Russia's Foreign Ministry says it would welcome an Iranian decision to accept an offer to enrich its uranium abroad... Teheran has indicated it is now willing to take advantage of the UN-brokered deal to send its low-grade nuclear material to Russia for further enrichment. The US appeared sceptical of the offer, saying that Iran should contact the International Atomic Energy Agency if it really wants to go through with the deal. Meanwhile, Teheran says it has successfully tested a new locally built satellite rocket.
