Kangaroo Baby At Home in Shopping Bag

A baby kangaroo is growing up in a shopping bag in Germany. Kangaroo baby Daisy fell out of her mother's pouch at the Bad Saarow Pheasant and Game Park in Brandenburg two months before she was mature enough to survive outside. Unable to make her way back in, the private park's owner, Hartmut Richter, took the kangaroo home and put it in a linen shopping back padded with a plush pillow cover. Since June the marsupial has been living with the Richters and has already attracted media attention in Australia and Japan.
