"Killer" Klinsmann Sick and Tired of Criticism

German national soccer coach Jürgen Klinsmann's revolution of the Germany team has drawn considerable criticism since he took over the job less than three months ago. Critics have no problem with the results, which have been a marked improvement under Klinsmann's reign, but they're keen to take apart his every decision. Klinsmann has now come out and said that he is sick of having to justify himself and his actions to the know-it-alls in Germany who continue to focus on his autocratic style of coaching rather than his effect on the national team. "From now on I'm not going to spend any more time justifying anything," he told the tabloid Bild Zeitung. "I'm going to talk only about players and coaches who are now in the team." Klinsmann has been criticized for firing his goalkeeping coach Sepp Maier, deciding not to pick his number one keeper until 2006 and changing Germany's World Cup training venue. He has also been criticized for bringing in US fitness trainers, for living in California and for wanting to move the 2006 training camp away from Leverkusen.
