Kosovo - A Tough Mission - ej 10.10.2007

It's been eight years since the UN sent in peace-keeping troops to Kosovo to stop the conflicts between militant Serbs and Kosovo Albanians. The Kosovo peace-keeping mission is the largest in UN history. Despite the fact that the international community managed to set up an interim government, establish a functioning administration and bring peace to Kosovo, critics still say it has failed. Kosovo faces economic collapse as corruption and tax evasion have become rampant.
