Learning from Goethe means being open

In a world increasingly mired in crisis, cultural exchange becomes ever more important, says Johannes Ebert, Secretary-General of Germany’s Goethe Institute. The good thing about globalization, he adds, is that cultures meet. They can only do so on the basis of mutual respect and openness.
