Two passengers on a cruise ship carrying mostly German nationals have been diagnosed with the deadly Legionnaire’s Disease, officials reported over the weekend. The Ocean Monarch, traveling to the United Kingdom, Iceland and Greenland, left the northern German port city of Cuxhafen on Saturday. Health officials discovered the outbreak after a patient with flu-like symptoms checked into a Hanover hospital. Officials have warned the ship’s 366 passengers to immediately report to a hospital if they suffer from fever, coughing or severe diarrhea. The outbreak is the third in Europe in recent weeks. Three people died from the disease in an outbreak in Montpellier, France, and another two died in Frankfurt on the Oder, Germany this summer.
