Deutsche Post's express subsidiary, DHL, is opening a giant new logistics centre near the eastern German city of Leipzig today. The freight depot, at the city's internaitonal airport, cost 300- Mmillion euros to build. And it is hoped it will help cut the region's unemployment rate, which is nearly 15- percent and attract more firms.
