This week the bicycle turns 200 years old. Invented in Germany in 1817, the bike was first called the running machine. Imagine a modern day two-wheeled bike only with no pedals and you literally have run to keep the bike moving. How the bike has changed! To coincide with the anniversary, DW takes a look at the renaissance of our beloved two-wheeled vehicle.
