While his family comes from Pakistan, rapper Ali As is a born and bred Bavarian. Zulfiqar Ali Chaudhry grew up in one of Germany's most affluent regions and learned how to fight prejudice with music.

Melting Pop - Rapper Ali As

Zulfiqar Ali Chaudhry was born in Munich in 1979 to Pakistani parents. He was a teenager when he began rapping about his day-to-day life. His articulate, edgy and humorous tracks often deal with racism and intolerance. The new album "Euphoria" has just been released.
