Since 1954, people in the Bavarian village of Pösing have been listening to the latest on the local loudspeakers. Every day, Mayor Gisela Riederer reads the local news. For the last 60 years, a fanfare alerts the villagers that the news is about to start. It's something the thousand villagers would never want to miss, even in the internet age.
