Nigerian community takes charge of its sanitation

Aghaji, NonyeNovember 21, 2013

More than 2.5 billion people in the world don't have access to a clean toilet, and urinate and defecate in the open. This contaminates water and spreads illness, while there are also massive economic costs associated with poor sanitation. In Nigeria, community-led total sanitation aims to build more toilets and encourage people to stop using the bushes.
